Storm to Light Recovery exists to help people slow down a crisis, understand what is happening, find the right support, and build a stable foundation. We work from lived experience, honest conversation, practical action, and clear professional boundaries.

Honesty is necessary, but shame is not a strategy. The work is direct, respectful, and grounded in responsibility.
Coaching helps people understand options and choose next steps. Clinical, legal, emergency, and specialized services are referred out.

Structure and support protect what we are trying to build.
Treatment, medication, peers, faith, family, self-care, and community may all have a role.
Helping should increase another person’s ability to act—not create dependence on the helper.
